Let the bidding begin!

Some of the equipment that was removed from the studio is now up on ebay, the proceeds go towards paying off what the studio owners owe me. So if anybody reading this knows someone that may be interested, send them on over to check out the stuff.

Here's the link to whats for sale

Depending on how the auctions go there may be more gear going up there.

Wow...

I found this over on Northamericanmotoring.com, a Mini enthusiast message board.

Pretty impressive what these little cars can take.

Rear ended Mini Cooper try and read the story and scroll down and take a look at the pics. The basics are: Mini stopped, Ford F-150 going 55 hits mini on driver side rear corner, mini driver wearing 4 point harness had a bump on forehead from loose sun visor, no airbags went of in mini. Ford F-150 had the right front axle assembly come off completely (wheel, suspension, trailing arm).

...and the countdown begins...

Today begins the 4 1/2-ish month wait till my Mini arrives. I went down to Long Beach Mini and placed my order, I was in and out, in about 5 minutes. I was as easy as making an appointment to get your hair cut. So now I'm on the waiting list to get an order slot at the dealer then the order gets placed with MINI, kinda like waiting in line to get into the waiting room.

Here are some of the highlights of what I've signed myself up for:
Mini Cooper S, Pepper White with Black roof and mirrors.
6 speed, DSC, LSD, front/rear fog lamps, xenon headlights, chrono pack, heated seats.

Once I have the car in my grubby hands, the first 5 mods will be:
Tinted windows
Stealthbox Sub from JL Audio
Wheels 17" from ADR black center with polished rim
Short Shift Kit from ALTA - along with some sort of shift knob change.
possibly a rear swaybar upgrade too, we'll see.

SOLD!!!

I sold the El Camino on Saturday, April 08 2006!! It's gone and I'm not sorry I sold it, I really liked the guys that bought it.

Now my only problem is where to stick this...

Chevrolet 396 Big Block

I sold the car, not the engine. Now it's sitting on blocks getting ready to be put in a crate to await a future engine bay to reside in. I've got plans for the motor but I need to find a vehicle to put it into. It's going to get Fuel Injected and I'd like to give it some more go power, hoping for close to 400 horsepower or at least 350 HP at the wheels. When is was in the car it was making 250 HP and 325 Ft/lb at the rear wheels, not bad but a bit more would be nice. But we'll see what happens, it's not going to be cheap.

Sometimes change is good...

FINALLY, the studio is completely gone. I finished cleaning it out today. Now the suite can be leased by someone that will actually pay the rent, and it looks like we've already found someone.

..oh yeah...looks like we won't be finishing your album Chris, sorry.
